The Microstructure Group is part of the Department of Oceanography at Texas A&M University, College Station, and the Department of Marine Sciences at Texas A&M University at Galveston. Our research focuses on understanding small-scale physical processes such as turbulence in oceans and lakes. Location
Our lab and offices are strategically located at the Ft. Crockett Campus of Texas A&M University at Galveston,
just a block off the Gulf of Mexico coast. Directions from the main campus (TAMU-College Station) to Ft. Crockett are

Group Logo
Our group logo is a spin off of the Greek God Poseidon holding a turbulence profiling instrument (SCAMP; for more information visit PME) instead of his original trident.
